Our Core Positions

CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis equipment. Essential functions include:

  • Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, operation sheets and CMM inspection reports to produce complex finished product.
  • Setup, tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary.
  • Ability to accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments including roll testers, gages, indicators and micrometers.
  • Perform daily TPM responsibilities.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required.
  • Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes.
  • Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors.

Quality Inspector

Quality Inspectors at Aero Gear are supporting manufacturing by inspecting products and processes to meet quality and scheduled goals of the company.

Actions include performing final inspection of products working in accordance with inspection sheets to help find the root cause of any issues as well as prepare professional reports and documentation of potential non-conformances, to help maintain standards and compliances of Aero Gear.

Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will be responsible for technically supporting production flow line with processes, tooling and resolution of non-conforming material. Essential functions include:

  • Develop and maintain operation processes for flow line
  • Design tooling, fixtures and gauges
  • Participate on continuous improvement teams and champion improvement initiatives
  • Review and disposition nonconforming material
  • Develop rework processes
  • Support flow line with technical issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space
  • Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors
