CNC Machinist
The CNC Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis equipment. Essential functions include:
- Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, operation sheets and CMM inspection reports to produce complex finished product.
- Setup, tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary.
- Ability to accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments including roll testers, gages, indicators and micrometers.
- Perform daily TPM responsibilities.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required.
- Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes.
- Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors.
