State-of-the-Art Facilities & Processes
The overall majority of our Lean Flow processing is conducted within our modern climate controlled 100,000 sq. ft. facility, including unique gear processing equipment such as vacuum carburization, gas quenching, superfinishing, balancing, and non-destructive testing. This enables us to offer significantly shorter lead times, excellent quality control, with greater efficiencies and improved customer service.
This performance return and our ability to meet demanding requirements in both the engineering and manufacturing processes, has led to strong partnerships with both major engine manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
Aero Gear’s Journey Towards Excellence
Since its founding in 1982, Aero Gear has developed strong relationships with industry leading OEM’s and customers in support of the production of aerospace gears and gearbox systems.
Aero Gear started machining gear teeth to assist OEM gear manufacturers and progressed to manufacturing complete detail gears in house. Today we specialize in carburized and hardened complex gears for our gearbox assemblies and spare details to our global customers.
We have developed a reputation for excellent quality, strong gear expertise and the application of lean philosophy in our manufacturing processes.

The company started out building a reputation putting gears and splines on other suppliers’ parts.

Began build to print manufacturing of complete gears, and shortly after established in-house heat treat capability.

Aero Gear began assembling complete gearboxes for both military and commercial use.

Transitioned the factory from departments to flow lines, in a complete overhaul of the factory layout.
